Exchange Components offer speedy repairs and reduced downtime. Thompson has an inventory of exchange engines, transmissions, cylinders, motors and pumps allowing customers to swap their existing component with a warranted Thompson rebuilt component.

Exchange components are another commitment of Thompson Machinery on parts availability to help speed repair time and minimize downtime. Thompson keeps a growing inventory of cylinder groups, hydraulic pumps and motors, engines, long blocks, transmissions, torque converters and differentials groups as well undercarriage group parts.


All exchange components are tested and steps are taken to ensure they meet Caterpillar’s Contaminate Control Measures. These exchange components are covered by a 6-month warranty.
